By downloading or using Dictator ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Dictator is a dictation keyboard for iPhone. It offers a free tier that transcribes speech to text entirely on your device; a premium subscription that transcribes using our cloud service for higher accuracy and additional features; and an optional bring-your-own-key mode that uses your own Groq API key.
If you use your own Groq API key, your use of Groq is governed by your agreement with Groq, and you are responsible for any charges Groq bills to your account. Keep your key confidential; it is stored only on your device.
You agree not to use the App to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service (including circumventing usage limits or the subscription). You are responsible for the content you dictate.
Speech recognition is imperfect. The App may mis-transcribe words. You are responsible for reviewing dictated text before you send or rely on it. The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The App relies on third-party services (including Groq and Apple). We are not responsible for those services' availability or acts, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jeremy Irons is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Unless you and we agree otherwise, your license to use the App is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/…/stdeula).
We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
